Arturo Betunio

Born in Napoli in 1965.
Arturo Betunio is a Partner at KPMG Studio Associato – Legal and Tax Consulting and Chairman of AMCO’s Supervisory Body since 2018.
He began his career as an officer in the Guardia di Finanza from 1985 to 1995. Subsequently, he assumed the position of Head of Tax Planning Activity at INA – National Insurance Institute. Then, he worked as Manager in charge of the Tax Service of Poste Italiane, and from 2003 to 2009 he was first Manager in charge of the Tax Function of Capitalia and then Head of Tax Planning at UniCredit Group. From 2009 to 2013, he was General Manager of the Central Regulatory Department of the Italian Revenue Agency, then in Banca MPS, first as Head of the Administration and Budget Area, and then as Head of the CFO Department. From 2016 to 2017 he was CFO and General Counsel at Banca Carige, and from 2017 to 2018 Senior Advisor at Banca Popolare di Vicenza and Veneto Bank.
He holds a degree in Law from the University of Pavia, and later a master’s degree in Economic and Financial Security Sciences (“Tor Vergata”) and Political Science in Trieste.
