We respect our future with eco-friendly behaviours and responsible resource consumption
The environmental protection is a priority and we want to further increase focus on our consumption to monitor and contain our carbon footprint. Aware of the strength we all have together, we are committed to raising awareness and involving people in virtuous initiatives and projects.
These are our strategic objectives:

Our commitments:
- Monitor and reduce AMCO’s carbon footprint
- Transition from natural gas heaters to electric heat pumps fuelled by certified renewable energy, for heating purposes

- All electricity supply contracts derived from renewable sources
- Total transition of the company car fleet from diesel and/or petrol-fuelled cars to hybrid ones

What does “we respect our future” mean?
CONSUMPTION REDUCTION
To reduce GHG emissions and energy consumption, we only use energy from certified renewable sources.
We use sensor lighting in our Milan office.
The heating systems in Milan, Naples and Rome are powered by electric pumps.
PAPERLESS APPROACH
Separate waste collection is guaranteed in all offices, we use stationery made of recycled plastic and FSC-certified paper.
We aim for the dematerialisation of all documents starting with business cards for which we already use barcode technology.
BREATHING GREEN CULTURE
In cooperation with MUGO, we launched an environmental-awareness programme to promote virtuous behavior and reduce our impact on the climate.
With Rete Clima, we also organised a forest day in 2024.
From 2022 to 2024, 3 forest days were organised. We have planted 450 trees.
SUSTAINABLE OFFICE BUILDINGS
In January 2023, we obtained the LEED GOLD certification for the Milan headquarters in Via San Giovanni sul Muro 9, in compliance with ESG criteria.
In February 2024 we were among the first companies in Italy to obtain the Fitwel certification, confirming our focus on employees’ health and well-being.
In 2024, we appointed a Mobility Manager for the Milan office.
