Ministry of Tourism and AMCO: signed a memorandum of understanding
MINISTRY OF TOURISM AND AMCO: SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
FOR THE RELAUNCH OF COMPANIES IN THE TOURISM SECTOR IN ITALY
Milan-Rome, 15 September 2022. The Ministry of Tourism and AMCO have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly promote initiatives for the strategic support and relaunch of companies in the tourism sector in Italy.
In particular, the initiative is dedicated to companies in the sector affected by the crisis triggered by Covid-19 pandemic, as well as by the more recent events that impacted the international political and economic scenario, first and foremost the current energy crisis.
The Ministry of Tourism, which define and coordinates the planning and promotion of national tourism policies, will facilitate institutional relations and the transfer of information with companies and the different trade associations representing the sector, in full compliance with current regulations and privacy legislation in force.
The role of AMCO – Asset Management Company will be to define ad hoc management solutions to support – at different levels and depths of intervention – the recovery process of companies active in the sector and experiencing temporary financial or industrial difficulties.
The Agreement provides for and promotes the inclusion into the initiative of additional public or private entities, jointly identified by the Ministry of Tourism and AMCO and interested in increasing the positive effect of the initiative.
