Piero Alonzo

Piero Alonzo has been a member of the Board of Directors of AMCO and a Member of the Management Control Committee since May 2026.
A chartered accountant, he is an expert in tax law and corporate law and is a Statutory auditor. He has also gained significant experience in M&A transactions, having advised Italian and international private equity funds.
He has built his professional career in the fields of corporate and tax consultancy, corporate governance and in corporate supervisory bodies in the financial, industrial and services sectors.
Over the years, he held positions on Boards of Directors and Boards of Statutory Auditors of major national groups and entities supervised by the Bank of Italy, gaining significant experience in internal control, audit and corporate supervision.
He has also collaborated with public and private organisations on supervision and governance activities, consolidating his expertise in regulatory matters and corporate control processes.
He has lectured on tax matters at the “Scuola Superiore dell’Economia e delle Finanze”.
He holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and is registered in the Register of Statutory Auditors.
